I would like to welcome you to the website of St Paul's Peel.  We are a Christian community which serves the Parish of Peel and Little Hulton and is now part of the Walkden & Little Hulton Team Ministry withhin the Anglican Diocese of Manchester, together with St Paul's, Walkden, and St John the Baptist, Little Hulton.

The present church building has stood proudly for just over 130 years, witnessing to the love of Jesus in our community, and welcoming people within its walls to mark those times of joy such as baptisms and weddings and acknowledging those times of sadness when we say "good-bye" to love ones.

Today we continue this ministry within the community,  Baptisms, weddings and funerals still form an important part of our work and ministry.  But there is much more to St Paul's Peel.  We are a vibrant, thriving community of faith, consisting of local people of all ages, which meets regularly to worship God and celebrate all that Jesus Christ has done for us.

Our main service each week is at 10.45am on Sunday.  The content of the main services varies from week-to-week, but we regularly do what Jesus told us to by celebrating Holy Communion.  We seek to make our worship accessible to all the ages represented among us and to meet together in as relaxed and informal atmosphere as possible, but still offering to God the best worship we can.  If you would like to join us at any of our services, you will be very welcome.

But we are not only a worshipping community, we are also a social community, meeting together to enjoy each other's company regularly, with social evenings, shows, dances and other events.  You are also very welcome to attend any of these.

We look forward to welcoming you soon.

With every blessing

Rev'd David Green, Vicar
